Farallon: A Union Square Classic

As summer comes to an end and San Francisco is gearing up for the fall and the holidays, Union Square is bustling with fall fashion shopping and soon ice skating, gift shopping, the tree lighting and other winter fun. Now, you have a new festive lunch option at Farallon, one of the Square’s most classic restaurants. Farallon recently began lunch service, perfect for enjoying between those fall fashion finds or during a quick bout of holiday shopping. The new lunches will be served in the iconic Jellyfish Lounge and Oyster Bar with a unique and whimsical under-the-sea backdrop. The restaurant space also has three private rooms that are great for holiday parties and events.

You can even make an afternoon of it and stay for our excellent happy hour 3-6 pm Tues-Sat. Toast to your shopping triumphs with a $6 Manhattan and a half dozen oysters (also $6)! Check out the full happy hour menu here. On the lunch menu, you’ll find delectable Dungeness Crab Toast, Bubbles & Caviar, a lemony farro salad with smoked trout and other tasty options.
