Halloween: Union Square & Beyond

Planning to spend your Halloween in SF? We have the top parties, dances, haunted houses and shows to chill your blood and add a little magic to All Hallow's Eve. We suggest you start your evening in Union Square and go on one of these haunted adventures! 

Halloween Massive – Oct. 26 at The Westin St. Francis 

Built in 1904, you know there are a few ghost stories to be told in this grand old hotel! At this party, you’ll dance your booty off in an extravagant, historic setting – you can even get a VIP table and bottle service if you really want to do it up.

San Francisco Magic Parlor - Oct. 31 – Nov. 2 at The Chancellor Hotel 

Care for a little magic this Halloween? Hear tantalizing true San Francisco stories of haunted hotels, satanic preists, voodoo queens and more in the Chancellor Hotel all Halloween weekend.

Five Nights of Halloween Debauchery – Oct. 24-31 at Ruby Skye 

Ruby Skye never fails to impress with its world-renowned DJs, incredible movie-style décor, props and all-out dance parties. They’ll be flying in famous DJs like Paul Okenfold and Jack Beats and decking the whole place out in Circus Freak Show glamour for Halloween this year.

Haunted House of Horrors - Oct. 26 – 31 at the Old Mint

This is just outside Union Square, but we just couldn’t resist! The Old Mint, built in 1874, is transforming into a spectacular Haunted House of Horrors for Halloween. This spooky, theatrical production will have mazes, chambers of terror, horror-movie screenings, live shows, costumes galore and more!

“A Murder Most Un-Scripted” – Available through TIX Bay Area Oct. 28 – 30 at Un-Scripted Theater Company

If you have a sense of adventure, you might want to catch an unscripted, Agatha Cristie-style murder mystery this Halloween. Try to figure out the culprit before the detective. It all starts at a mysterious dinner party in a mansion on a hill in a small town and leads to betrayal, murder and hidden secrets!

The World of Paradox - Oct. 31 at the Alcove Theater 

David Miller combines magic, dance, performance art and character acting to create a unique, dream-like magic show that aims to teach you that the impossible is possible. Encounter a cast of mysterious characters who will excite and delight with tricks and illusions in this unusual magic show.

Monster Manic 2013 - Oct. 26 at Parc 55 Hotel

This costumed dance party sells out every year! Enjoy two giant dance floors decked out in Halloween décor, a $1000 costume contest, top notch DJs and live percussions at the Parc 55 Hotel in Union Square.
