All you Need is Love – A Valentine’s Celebration in Union Square

Feb. 12 at noon

Celebrate love and heartbreak at this free outdoor concert in the heart of SF. Catch the fabulously retro Bud E. Luv Orchestra, local drag star of the stage Donna Sachet and the romantic Latin serenading of Mariachi Nueva Generacion SF. Plus, you can get an on-the-spot poem for your Valentine written by the poets from California Poets in the Schools.

Love & Heartbreak Twitter Contest

Also, you can enter our Love & Heartbreak twitter contest. Feb. 3-11, tweet your most magical love story, whether happy or sad in 140 characters or less with #UnionSquareSF. We’ll choose our top ten favorite short and sweet tales of the heart to read them out loud at the Valentine's celebration, and one grand prize winner will get a romantic night on the town in Union Square with a deluxe king room at the beautiful Westin St. Francis, dinner at the romantic Burritt Room restaurant, sparkling wine flights at Eno SF, show tickets at SF Playhouse and other surprises! Go Red Strut

Feb. 7, 11-1 pm

Part fashion show, part fundraiser for the American Heart Association, the Go Red Strut is a the perfect way to kick off your Valentine's week. Enjoy small bites, heart-health education, and great prizes for the winners! 

On National Wear Red Day, Bay Area executives and community leaders will strut the catwalk in red shoes & apparel at the 3rd Annual Go Red Strut, presented by Wells Fargo. Come watch San Francisco's finest strut in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement!

Valentine’s Day Decorating Class with Kara’s Cupcakes – Macy’s Cellar

Join Macy’s & Kara Lind from Kara’s Cupcakes for a hands-on Valentine’s Day cupcake decorating class. She’ll share tips and tricks on frosting and topping her irresistible pastries ($20pp).

HeArt Show at Optical Underground

Valentine's Night at the Starlight Room

Fall in love with San Francisco all over again with stunning views of the City's glowing skyline. This year, celebrate love amongst the stars high above San Francisco with the Starlight Room. Drinking and dancing await you in an elegant atmosphere of red velvet and chandeliers on the 21st floor of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. With the purchase of tickets, couples will receive a table for the duration of the evening where they can enjoy a bottle of champagne and decadent handcrafted chocolate dessert.
