We believe that everyone should experience the joy of cooking and sharing delicious meals at home, and that learning to cook and loving to cook go hand in hand. We’ve opened our first cooking school to teach you everything we’ve learned from over 50 years in the kitchen. With a focus on local, organic and sustainable ingredients, our classes cover a range of topics from the basics of learning to cook, to mastering specific techniques, or exploring a new cuisine. In each class, small groups of students prepare, cook and share meals together in our fully-outfitted kitchen with expert demonstrations and hands-on instruction from our resident professional chefs. Open to all skill levels — from complete beginners to advanced cooks — they offer a fun, relaxing and educational environment in which students will learn how to master and recreate techniques and dishes in their own home kitchens. Each month brings a new lineup of cooking classes to your local Williams-Sonoma store. Learn about cuisines from around the world – and close to home – from our talented chefs and culinary experts.

Fresh ingredients prepared simply and with little adornment, are the hallmarks of Italian fare. Let us whisk you off to Italy! We'll cook a bountiful meal filled with vibrant flavors just like ones you'd enjoy in a trattoria on a warm summer evening. Recipe ideas include Fried Stuffed Squash Blossoms; Panzanella; Grilled Veal Chops; and Panna Cotta. This is a hands-on class. Wine will be served.

No desserts are quite as comforting as pies and cobblers, which conjure up images of cozy kitchens and our grandmothers' cooking. No season is better for baking these homey desserts than summer, when fresh berries and stone fruits are abundant. Join us as we make a few of these old-fashioned favorites. Recipe ideas include Blueberry Streusel Galette, Mini Nectarine Raspberry Cobbler and Latticed Cherry Pie. This is a hands-on class.

Travel with us to Sicily and explore the foods and flavors of the region. We'll prepare some authentic dishes showcasing ingredients that are abundant on this southern Italian island, including citrus, eggplant and fava beans. Then we'll enjoy our feast together. Recipe ideas include Arancini, Maccu Soup, Caponata, Pork Chops with Orange and Marsala, and Connoli. This is a hands-on class. Wine and limoncello will be served.

Winner, winner, let's fry some chicken for dinner! We'kl show you how simple it is - and how you can pull this off even on a weeknight (honestly)! Recipe ideas include Spicy Buttermilk Fired Chicken, Collard Greens with Lardons, Gruyère and Cheddar Mac and Cheese, and Banana Cream Pie. This is a hands-on class. Wine will be served.

They are here at last, those long-awaited gems of summer: sun-ripened tomatoes, colorful squashes and juicy stone fruits! Join us as we transform these seasonal bounties into some delicious (meatless) dishes that are perfect for entertaining. Recipe ideas include Farmers' Market Salad with Tomato-Basil Vinaigrette, Goat Cheese and Arugula Pesto, Summer Squash Fritters with Guacamole, and Stone Fruit Crostata with Caramel Pistachios. This is a hands-on class.
