Black Magic feat. Tony Lindsay

As the lead vocalist for Santana for twenty-five years—as well as the leader of the popular San Francisco Bay Area R&B, jazz and dance group Spangalang—Tony Lindsay has garnered eleven Grammy Awards, travelled on several world tours and recorded many albums. He’s collaborated with an impressive list of artists, including Tevin Campbell, O’Jays, Al Jarreau, Steve Winwood, Teddy Pendergrass and Aretha Franklin. His full-bodied tenor has paved the way for his participation in a variety of musical projects, including a 1993 duet performance with Angela Bofill and the New York Philharmonic. Black Magic combines jazz, blues and soul and features Clifford Coulter, Myron Dove, Deszon Claiborne and special guest guitarist Chris Cain.

Tony Lindsay barely needs an introduction for Bay Area music lovers. As lead vocalist for Santana for 25 years, and a multi-faceted bandleader in his own right, Lindsay is a familiar presence on the local scene. Lindsay’s latest project, Black Magic, sees him collaborating with an ace band, including standout blues guitarist Chris Cain. The band traverses blues, soul and jazz and shines a light on Lindsay’s award-winning vocal chops.
