Carol Peters and Benn Bacot

Carol Peters and Benn Bacot, two Bay Area favorites and Feinstein’s at the Nikko veterans, combine their talents to take you on a journey of Love, Lust and Laughter backed by “The Retrofits” Sue Crosman (piano) Steve La Porta (drums) Benito Cortez (violin) and Steve Weber (bass) in an evening you will remember for a long time.

Carol Peters is a singer, songwriter that has released two CDs. The Dream Café features original music inspired by her lifetime of adventures and was released with Favorites Carol Peters Sings the companion album featuring beloved standards and classics. Peters is accompanied by The Retrofits, her long-time band of talented and experienced musicians. “The Retrofits seemed like just the right name for our little group,” she says. “We take music from the Great American Songbook and retrofit it in smart ways for a modern audience.”

Reminiscent of jazz vocalists from days gone by, Benn Bacot is affectionately known as “the Bass of the Bay” performing throughout the San Francisco area. Most recently he was featured in the Holiday Big Band Bash at Great American Music Hall and celebrated the release of his cover of “Christmas by the Bay.” His three CDs What Love Is, Stolen Moments and 4 Love of Abbey are available on iTunes or Amazon.
