Chinese New Year at Hakkasan

Hakkasan is celebrating Chinese New Year from Jan. 22 – Feb. 22 with a signature menu created by Chef Ho Chee Boon showcasing dishes that will bring luck, joy and prosperity in 2016. Priced at $138.88 the signature menu is accompanied by an exclusive cocktail and dessert inspired by the Year of the Monkey.

Hakkasan restaurants around the world will continue to honour the Chinese wishing tree tradition. Inspired by the Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees in Hong Kong, guests are invited to share their hopes for the coming year by writing wishes on gold ribbons which will be hung in the restaurant.

It is customary for friends and family to gift red envelopes containing money during this festive time symbolizing luck and wealth. Hakkasan is giving all guests who dine from the Chinese New Year menu a specially designed Year of the Monkey coin as a gift of good fortune.
