Chef Tamearra Dyson is the executive chef and owner of the critically acclaimed Souley Vegan, a Louisiana Creole Restaurant that opened its doors in 2009 In the city of Oakland CA. She continues to grow as she travels to cater celebrity events and is currently seeking to open more locations. In addition to donating generously to several local organizations annually, Chef Dyson also takes time to mentor young adults in the community.
After 10 years in business her many accolades include Top 10 soul food restaurants in the country by USA TODAY, a feature on The Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and Live Well Network's Food Rush with Ryan Scott which voted Souley Vegan the Best Vegan Restaurant and Best Soul Food Restaurant over several years.
Chef Tamearra is building quite the name for herself as not only a Culinary Artist but as an overall Woman of Influence as she continues to be featured major magazines and publications including, Angeleno Magazine's Power Player's, Inlove Magazine Elite Personalities, and Marquis Who's Who of American Women.
