John Lloyd Young

Best known for creating the role of Frankie Valli in the Broadway musical Jersey Boys for which he received the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Theatre World Award as well as a Lead Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his Broadway debut. Young then reprised the role in London's West End production of the show as well as in Director Clint Eastwood's film adaptation which was released in June 2014. He returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko following sold out engagements here in December 2014, July 2015 and April 2016 on a rigorous concert schedule that also often includes prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl and Lincoln Center and Radio City Music Hall. The Sacramento, CA native has released a CD “My Turn.” Performed at the White House and was appointed by President Barrack Obama to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. He is also a visual artist whose first commission was for famed Beverly Hills restaurant Spago.
