If you just Googled “ube,” this is the class for you! This purple yam, a common ingredient in desserts in the Philippines and other Asian countries, has caught the fancy of U.S. chefs. In this fun class we’ll transform ube into some amazing (purple) sweet treats. Recipe ideas include Ice Cream; Panna Cotta; Halaya; and Ube-Macapuno Cake. This is a hands-on class.
