Street Soccer USA Cup 2016

Street Soccer USA will host the third and final leg of its 2016 Cup Series with an exciting weekend of competition in San Francisco throughout the weekend of July 16-17.                       

As part of the festivities, U.S Men’s National Team and San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski, a Street Soccer ambassador, will host a celebrity match and meet with tournament participants.

Teams from San Francisco and across the Bay Area, ranging in age from six through to adult will compete in exciting four versus four 15-minute match-ups in a specially built Street Soccer Stadium in Union Square.

Fans and players are encouraged to join in the festivities and register to compete in the Street Soccer USA Bay Area Cup.

The event is a free and open to the public.

Soccer fans and player of all levels and their families can register to play or join in walk-up opportunities and enjoy the music and fun.

Street Soccer USA builds the grassroots capacity of soccer in urban areas with the goal of transferring life skills and coordinating a social safety net in the community for its participants. The Street Soccer USA Cup Series underlines Street Soccer USA’s mission to extend the benefits of sports to all by building fields, providing coaching and training, as well as education and employment programs to at-risk youth and homeless adults.

Uniqlo will provide uniforms for participants and TAG Heuer will serve as the Official Timekeeper of the Street Soccer USA Cup Series.

San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department is an official partner of Street Soccer USA and the Street Soccer USA Bay Area Cup.
