If you love Union Square and the entire city of San Francisco as much as we do, then you'll want to get involved and help us make this area a better place to work, stay and play. You are automatically a member of our organization if you own, manage or work in a property that is part of our 27 block district. If not, you can still attend our meetings, which are open to the public. Here's a list of ways you can help us make Union Square shine:
Link to Us!
Our website, Facebook page, twitter handle and other social media venues are still new. Help us get the word out about them by sharing one of our blog posts, retweeting one of our tweets or adding our Union Square blog button to your website. If you have expertise in one of our specialties such as designer fashion, jewelry or other luxury goods, you can also write a guest blog post for us following these parameters. Contact us at email@example.com with ideas! We're the only organization representing the neighborhood as a whole, so this adds value for everyone who works, lives or has a business here.
Stay in Touch
We'll keep you up to date on all the news, events, developments and fun stuff happening in Union Square. Just sign up for our weekly newsletter using the form to the left.
You can also keep up to date on projects the BID is working on, as well as handy resources and alerts for businesses and property owners by subscribing to our monthly Square Affairs newsletter. Check out past issues below, and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the list!
Attend our Board of Directors meetings.
The Board meetings are held bi-monthly and noticed in advance with varying locations. The agenda is posted on the Meetings & Agendas page and at the City’s main library.
Attend one of our Advisory Committees
Collectively, more than 200 volunteers participated on one or more of the BID’s advisory committees last year. If you have an interest in any of these aspects of the BID you’re welcome to attend.
The Marketing Advisory Committee
The Public Affairs & Advocacy Advisory Committee
The Services & Public Safety Advisory Committee
The Streetscapes & Beautification Advisory Committee
More information is available on the Meetings & Agendas page. Please contact us at email@example.com to RSVP for a future meeting.
Host a Meeting
Hosting a Board of Directors or Marketing Committee meeting is a great chance to gain exposure for your venue and event spaces. Our board is made up of prominent community members, property owners, managers and executives, and our Marketing Committee is made up of the top marketing experts in the district as well as media and technology partners. If you have meeting space, please consider hosting one of our meetings in order to showcase your space. For more info, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
