Members of the Union Square BID receive these valuable benefits:
Maintenance Measures – All properties receive two sidewalk steam cleanings per month as well as graffiti and litter removal and other maintenance.
Community Service Ambassadors (CSA’s) - Eight CSA’s are stationed throughout the district to assist the public with information and direct them to destinations within the area.
Additional Police Patrol – The Union Square BID dispatches additional patrol officers to help ensure the safety of the Union Square community.
Marketing – The Union Square BID creates and implements imaginative PR, marketing and social media projects and programs in order to maintain Union Square as a top visitor and local destination.
Public Affairs and Advocacy – The Union Square BID works with the city to advocate and represent members’ interests and ensure the economic vitality of the district.
Streetscape Improvements – The Union Square BID develops landscaping and streetscaping ideas and programs to distinguish the district and enhance the pedestrian experience in the area.
Capital Improvements – The Union Square BID sponsors architectural and restorative programs to improve and enrich the district.
