A.C.T. is the largest theater company in the San Francisco Bay Area. During the past four decades, more than 300 A.C.T. productions have been seen by close to 7 million playgoers in the company's magnificent Beaux Arts–style theater located in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square theater district.
The Curran Theatre is one San Francisco's most decorated performing arts venues, officially opened in 1922 by Homer Curran. From the cozy lobby through the intimate auditorium to the back of house, the Curran is more like a Broadway theatre than any other in the country.
San Francisco Playhouse is the city’s Off-Broadway company, an intimate alternative to the larger, more traditional Union Square theater fare. The San Francisco Playhouse provides audiences the opportunity to experience professional theater with top-notch actors and world-class design in a setting where they are close to the action.
