The USBID launched its second Winter Walk SF, a highly successful partnership with SFMTA’s Central Subway project team, to close two-blocks of lower Stockton Street (btwn. Ellis and Geary Streets) to all vehicles during the holiday season and create a “pop up” pedestrian plaza activated with green turf, lighted seating, food trucks and performances, and local retail promotions. The family-friendly space attracts thousands of new, and returning visitors to the district. We’re grateful to project sponsors, such as Central Subway Team, SFMTA, Chancellor Hotel, Hotel G, Golden Gate Tap Room, Macy’s, Off the Grid, RHAA, San Francisco Magazine, Techspace, and Where Magazine, for supporting Winter Walk SF.
