With rapid response Member Services and innovative coverage, our Member Services representatives dispatch ambassadors to help maintain a high level of customer support and make our district cleaner and safer while providing a more welcoming place for visitors, workers, and residents. Ambassadors: They are the eyes and ears of Union Square for property owners and managers, businesses, community stakeholders, visitors, and residents.
Their primary responsibility is to observe, advise, and report quality of life issues on the streets. They can be seen wearing red Union Square uniforms.
Overnight Security: Unarmed, uniformed personnel actively patrol the district from 10pm–6am. Their role is to observe, report, and address low-level crimes, and provide a hospitality presence.
They are the face of Union Square to visitors and tourists. Their primary responsibility is to assist and engage tourists with a friendly smile and direct them to wherever they wish to go.
