Mother’s Day Tips from the Mystic Hotel

**Guest blog post by the team at the Mystic Hotel

Still looking for the perfect way to treat mom this Mother’s Day? Union Square is the perfect place to explore culture, shop, pamper yourself and enjoy a fun-filled weekend in the heart of San Francisco.

We suggest you make a weekend out of it, maybe a mother-daughter getaway in Union Square! You can even book the Mystic Hotel’s Mother’s Day Package, which includes a two night stay at the hotel on Stockton Street, just one block from Union Square Park and right in the middle of all the famous shops, restaurants, and entertainment of Union Square. This way you can really soak in the culture of San Francisco and give mom an unforgettable weekend.

Arrive on Saturday and check in to the Mystic Hotel to kick off the weekend. Take a moment to stroll around Union Square window shopping and maybe grab a coffee and a pastry at Café Madeleine on O’Farrell St.

Then, pop over to the Westfield mall and make your way to Bloomingdale’s, stopping in a few of their killer boutiques on the way. As part of the Mystic’s Mother’s Day package, not only will you receive 10% off at Bloomingdale’s and a gift with your purchase, but you’ll also be treated to a mani and pedi with Mom. Hit the town with your fresh manicure and pedicure. You’ll be all set to wine and dine with mom – maybe check out Eno Wine Bar for a glass of bubbly or dance the night away at the Starlight Room (mom might appreciate its retro appeal).

Wake up on Sunday and start the day with a yummy breakfast at the Mystic Hotel. Have a Starbucks latte and nibble on a seasonal quiche, then explore the City by The Bay. Stop by one of the bountiful farmer’s markets, take a ride on the Cable Car, and explore the city limits.

Wind down at Charlie Palmer’s Burritt Room + Tavern and enjoy Chef Luke Knox’s signature dishes, like his savory sourdough pancake topped with roasted Brussels sprouts in a pickled mustard seed, crème fraiche, and fresh tarragon sauce. Sip on a Mamma Mia!, Burritt Room’s Mother’s Day special cocktail, which includes vodka, meletti amaro, Cointreau, orange bitters, lemon juice, and champagne. After this unforgettable weekend, you’re sure to be mom’s favorite!
