A+C 16: Walking Tour - Nolli Plan Walk: Union Square (2 LU)
Explore San Francisco’s Union Square through a guided tour of the rich network of semi-public pathways extending into corporate and hotel lobbies, retail arcades, religious spaces, and even onto city rooftops all located. Inspired by the iconic figure-ground Nolli Plan of Renaissance Rome, see how the public pedestrian (street) realm of the city is joined almost seamlessly with a complementary realm of semi-public (off-street) pedestrian spaces.
Walking tour will start and end at Union Square at 333 Post Street. We suggest bringing a bottle of water, bring a light jacket and hat (SF microclimates!), and wear comfortable walking shoes.
