Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day with Cafe Claude
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is celebrated on the third Thursday of November, just weeks after the Gamay grapes have been harvested. Unlike traditional wine, this is meant to be consumed while it is still young, yielding a fresh and fruity red enjoyed by palates all over the world. And Beaujolais pairs fabulously with French fare!
Beginning on Thursday, November 17, Domaine Dupeuble’s Beaujolais Nouveau 2016 will be available by the glass ($12) and bottle ($48), for as long as it lasts! PLUS, starting Sunday 11/13 through Saturday 11/19, we'll have festivities such as special appetizers, entrees and of course Live Jazz.
Beaujolais Nouveau Feature
Daube Provençale - $22
Slow braised Top round, shoulder and short rib of beef, San Marzano tomatoes, niçoise olives, Beaujolais, served over fresh Phoenix pasta egg noodles.
Reservations for November 17-19 recommended, but not required.
Musicians will perform from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on three nights of the celebration: The Groove Club will be in house on Thursday night, Steve and Carmen Show will perform on Friday night, and Vijay Anderson Quartet will play on Saturday night
