Locally adored and Internationally acclaimed jazz and blues singer, Kim Nalley is joined by her band Tammy Hall (piano), Michael Zisman (bass), Kent Bryson (drums) and special guest, legendary jazz tenor saxophonist Houston Person for a two-week engagement.

Nalley will lend her three and a half octave range to a memorable set of jazz and blues standards. She was a “Rising Star” nominee in the 2017 Downbeat Critics Poll and her latest CD Blues People received rave reviews in the San Francisco Chronicle and on NPR.  She is the founder of the Kim Nalley Black Youth Jazz Scholarship.

Houston Person is the recipient of numerous Grammy nominations and the Eubie Blake Jazz Award and is known for his 30 year collaboration with vocalist Etta Jones. Person has performed on the albums of such luminaries as Lena Horne and Lou Rawls and Kendrick Lamar sampled Person’s music for his CD "Mortal Man."
